MAIS Hacks 2023 – Winner of Hack for Impact
This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to participate in my first hackathon: MAIS Hacks organized by the McGill Artificial Intelligence Society My teammates Roman Sejnoha, Murad Ismayilov, Jasneet Sawhney and I had a great time developing our TimeTrek browser extension over the course of 24 hours. Using natural language processing and machine learning, we put together and tested a model that summarizes users’ web browsing habits with feedback on the amount of productive vs. unproductive time spent.
It was an amazing experience, and we even won the category “Best Hack for Impact”.
